United To Be Famous (a.k.a. UTBF) have been rockin’ stages since 2003. The guys, hailing from Bienne, need the stage like man needs oxygen. They call their sound “PunkyPopRock”, which means: Powerful guitar riffs meeting highly memorable choruses. Since Mike’s return from “Musicstar”, UTBF have been busy with touring and presenting their sound and stage show to the people (which some folks might find uncool, but hey, isn’t rock n’ roll first and foremost about entertaining?). UTBF doesn’t care about convention, as long as the audience is having a good time. Mike, Chris and Sandro grew up with the glamorous hardrock from the good old 80ties, an influence they won’t deny. A look at the band’s history shows that UTBF feel at home on all kinds of stages, whether it’s a club (like Z7 in Pratteln), a festival (like Braderie Biel) or as support show for the funpunkers QL.
